InfoWerks is excited to announce it has been recognized as Nevada Top Workplaces recipient. This award speaks to how amazing our greatest assets are, our people. As a workplace that values flexibility, innovation, and creative problem-solving, we are thrilled and humbled to have this type of recognition.

About Nevada Top Workplaces Awards

To be considered for the award, employers in Nevada were asked to submit information about their culture, values, and benefits. Additionally, we shared information about what makes us unique, our community support, recent events, and interesting facts. Next, each employee received a survey from the Nevada Top Workplaces partner, Energage, in partnership with the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Over 16,000 Nevada employees participated in the surveys.

The anonymous surveys allowed employees to offer their feedback on InfoWerks. Our staff was able to score the company based on a variety of elements tied to engagement and job satisfaction. The results of the survey were then compared to other similar company profiles in Nevada. Based on our surveys and well-defined culture, InfoWerks was a winner.

Our Commitment to Nevada

InfoWerks began 23 years ago, started by two friends that remain at the helm today, as a remote company. In the over two decades since, the company has grown substantially, choosing Las Vegas as the corporate headquarters. Since that time, we’ve focused on hiring from the Las Vegas community, while also keeping a fully remote team. We doubled in size in the last 18 months!

In October of 2019, we moved into a new corporate office, fully redesigned featuring our brand. The space includes all the latest technology and an open floor plan to encourage collaboration.

Paul Placek, Chief Relationship Officer and Co-Founder, shared, “Our new office is more than just a workplace. It’s a place where our teams come together and build relationships. It’s where ideation and innovation are happening. We’re very proud of our new space and what it offers to our employees.”

Since putting down roots in Las Vegas, we’ve also given back to the community. We have been a long-time sponsor of local youth sports, and in 2019, we purchased $12,000 worth of computers for a local elementary school. We realize the importance of philanthropy and have plans to give back even more, especially during the tough times our city and country are facing.

What’s So Unique About Our Culture?

It’s become commonplace for companies to spotlight their culture and perks. After all, having an engaged, happy workplace often leads to greater success. As the company has evolved and grown, we’ve stuck with our original concept of culture, which is inclusive and supportive. We live by five guiding values:

  • Integrity and Accountability
  • Empowerment
  • Discipline
  • Continual Improvement
  • Work Hard, Play Hard

“Our values are not just words. They illustrate how we act every day. Even as we’ve grown, we’ve never forgotten where we started. I’m just really thrilled with this achievement because it’s based on what our employees believe. That’s something you can’t manufacture. It has to be organic,” Jeff Deitch, CEO and Co-Founder, commented.

These values all combine to create a culture that cares about each employee as a person, encouraging and celebrating them. It’s more than just a happy veneer—it’s part of all we do. That’s why we provide above-standard benefits, including health and dental insurance, paid time off, and a 401K with matching. In 2020, we also started a program to allow employees to share in company profits and growth.

Welcome from Day One

We also make an impact from day one. When we hire a new “InfoWerker,” they receive a welcome gift with branded swag and a new backpack. New hires are also treated with a gift certificate for a celebration dinner. These gift certificates are also given for work anniversaries, promotions, and special kudos.

Luke Schock, CFO, said, “InfoWerks combines a family-friendly culture with compensation packages that allow InfoWerkers to share in our success. That commitment to our team has led us to achieve the great accomplishment of being a top workplace.”

Dedicated to Growing Together

Even though some employees are not physically here with us, we leverage the best in communication and collaboration tools like video conferencing to stay connected. As new employees have joined us in Las Vegas, they’ve been able to work with our veterans to continue to improve everything we do.

For many years, we’ve also hosted a company-wide event in Las Vegas called iConnect. Last year, we brought all employees together for several days of learning and sharing. Thanks to our friends at The D for helping us carry out a great event. We ended the conference with a night of food and fun at Top Golf.

Looking at the Future

Every business is dealing with new challenges right now, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. We understand the struggles that our community is facing. As a member of the healthcare ecosystem, we are doing all we can to support our customers and partners. We’ve developed new solutions to assist those battling the front lines and will continue to help those in need. We still are on track to grow this year and add new employees to our Las Vegas office.

We are humbled and honored to be recognized as Nevada Top Workplace. Our gratitude goes out to all our employees, who work to make InfoWerks better every day.
