Employee Spotlight: Colleen Elash – VP Technology

Meet Colleen Elash. She was recently promoted to Vice President of Technology at InfoWerks. Her expertise is in understanding systems and their logic, and she has the ability to look into the matrix of data and see patterns. Colleen has over 30 years of experience in technology-based roles, including 20 years in the Pharmacy industry. She began her career in the video business specializing in inventory and automatic inventory replenishment. Her knowledge and skills lead into the pharmacy industry where she worked for Thrift Drug and Kerr Drug. In 2000, Colleen joined InfoWerks and has held various technology roles. Today Colleen leads the development team, is responsible for all iConvert support, and works on evolving all InfoWerks programs, processes and training. Colleen has an Associates degree in Computer Management from ICM school of Business. She has been awarded the 3M Managing for Excellence Award and Special Olympics Volunteer Appreciation. Colleen lives in Pittsburgh, PA.

Q: What are some things most people don’t know about you? I have been in a commercial and was special host on a local Las Vegas show called “It’s All Good.”

Q: What is your biggest accomplishment? Taking care of my sister-in-law, Louise. She was like a sister to me. She had cancer and I wanted to be there to help her in her last days. This isn’t work related, but for me means more than anything I have done in my career.
